Lyricist
Howard Eisenberg has
written many books, hundreds of magazine articles, and many
scripts for TV, radio, and theater. Once, during a book tour,
he bought picture postcards of zoo animals and wrote fill-in-the-blank
poems to mail to his grandchildren. Through a collaboration
with composer and friend Sherwin Kaufman, these poems have
been set to music to create The Guess Who Zoo.
Composer Sherwin Kaufman,
grandson of legendary author-humorist
Sholom Aleichem of Fiddler on the Roof fame, started
his musical career as a classical pianist. He retired from
a long and successful career as a physician, and is now an
award-winning ASCAP composer and lyricist.
Producer Jimmy "The Wiz"
Wisner has been a hit-maker
for three decades. As Columbia Records A&R Chief, he recorded
Tony Bennett, Barbra Streisand, The Buckinghams and Al Kooper,
and his music enlivened many movies including Mr. Holland's
Opus and Dumb and Dumber. He has earned 25 Gold
and 12 Platinum records.
Co-Producer Ann Ruckert
is President of Ruckert Music and
Thirteen Stories Records. She has performed, produced, and/or
sung on more than 3000 recordings, working with greats such
as Eugene McDaniels, Phil Ramone, Roberta Flack, Barbra Streisand,
The Strawbs, and many others.
